Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
